RAMONA & JULES, perhaps the ultimate FMT outdoor, free in the parks, summer touring, outreach show. Based upon the ancient story that William Shakespeare "approriated for ROMEO & JULIET, our version made the two fighting families to be differentiated as clowns, one clan on stilts, the other not, both using variations of thr bathroom toilet plunger as weapns. Lots of slapstick, poetry, and stage combat/martial arts, staged by highly trained thespians... proved to be a crown pleaser for audiences made up of toddlers, senior citizens and all the young & old in between... multi racial cast, gender blind casting (before Actor's Equity had even thought of the term).

Original photo by Frank Ford, hand colorization by Michael John Moynihan, who was also the producer, writer, designer & director. Fight Choreographer by Rick Ney, Stilts designed and built by Ron Anderson, who was also the Company Combat Coach & pre-show Warm Up Director. Every fight in the show was walked thru pre show each performance day, which resulted in only one minor slip up during the 2 1/2 month run.

RAMONA & JULES  was only one segment of the multi-scene music/comedy/circus arts production. All company ensemble members were full-time paid professionals, journeymen & interns.
